it cools the 12900 (version without k, without f, 65W TDP) to 34 degrees in idle and 40 degrees while playing far cry 6. The stock cooler from Intel was around 80 degrees while playing.
perfectly fits the board MSI Z690 PRO A (there is no need to insert the holder plate under the socket)
you can set what you want on the display yourself in the OS, e. g. FPS, or temperature, or revolutions, or alternating info about everything together
the manual is inadequate as it usually is nowadays. For example. nothing is written there about plugging the 3 pin cable into the 4 pin port on the MSI board. It also doesn' t say that you don' t need to install a back plate on the MSI Z690 PRO A board because the board has a compatible one already attached.
you have to screw the fans to the cooling part yourself. It takes 2-3 minutes, but it could also come bolted together.
probably won' t be enough for 12900KS. MSI S360 will probably be necessary there
