Motorola Razr 70 8GB/256GB Pantone Bright White (White)
I bought the phone for my better half who was thrilled with it. except for the color, but you know those women..: -) The pink and purple leather Flip cover has improved it to 150%.: -)))
Very nice design
Excellent performance
Great battery life
Fast recharging
It looks really solid, but not humpolácky
Great performance/price ratio
Expand the accessories, especially the cases, the grey plastic in the package doesn't look very inviting.
After a short time of real use I bring a summary of my experience with this flexible stylus. I can compare from Razr 40 and Razr 60. In terms of software and display, it is a top-notch device, but in normal operation it runs into a few unexpected mechanical and design limitations, which I described in the cons. Functionally, it's a great smartphone. The ability to fully use apps on the external display and keep an Always-On clock in sight is highly addictive. The back of the phone is top-notch. But in terms of practical design and protective packaging, design won out over practicality. If you plan to carry your phone in a case, be prepared to handle it very carefully and keep an eye on the condition of the fixing adhesive strips, or look for a case other than the one supplied by the manufacturer.
Full external display: The front screen is huge, covering over 80% of the front screen, and it's not just a notification window. It allows you to run common apps - you can send emails, text, play YouTube Music or start navigation right on your phone when it's closed, without ever having to open the device.
Permanent Always-On (AOD): The display can permanently show the time and the most important information. The phone on the table acts as a perfect and stylish digital clock. The perfect clock on the coffee table at night.
Fine-tuned software: The system is clean, fast, stable and perfectly optimized for a flexible concept and smooth transition of applications from the external display to the internal.
Protective cover included
Compared to the Razr 40, a significant leap in usability.
Slippery rounded edges: The phone has been given highly polished and rounded sides. Without the sleeve, it slides extremely well in the hand and the fingers have no solid point of support on which to rest securely when opening.
The frame of the upper protective cover is too thin: The toll of a giant external display is relentless. Because of the display, the protective case for the top half of the phone is just an extremely thin plastic frame that has no structural strength of its own.
Spontaneous restarts due to cover slipping: To keep this thin bezel on the phone, it relies on factory adhesive tapes (stickers) inside the case. Once you have removed the cover (e.g. to clean up the dust), the adhesives stop sticking. The loose plastic frame then slides down during handling, and sometimes its edge squeezes the power button (Power) and the phone restarts spontaneously in your pocket or hand.
A slight shift from the Razr 60, in fact almost no intergenerational jump.
The Motorola Razr 70 pleasantly surprised me, especially with how practical it really is. It's beautifully compact when folded, but has a large, high-quality display when opened. I also appreciate the external display, thanks to which I often do not even have to open the phone. The phone is fast, shoots very nicely and overall looks really premium. For me a great combination of style, performance and originality.
Compared to Zflip 5, it's a bit more nimble. Better use of the external display. A little groove. So I hope it lasts longer than samsung's two years and two months.
Design, craftsmanship, Motorola cool factor (fragrant box, nostalgic clamshell design), the back surface of the Hematite variant doesn't slip, it's so rubbery
Quality of both displays
Big battery, great battery life, very fast charging
Appearance and speed of the environment, personalisation options
When on a call, the Motorola logo appears on the external display (lots of logo appearance settings), the logo moves like a spirit level (very cool! )
Cameras (new features, photo quality)
Unbeatable price/performance ratio for a flip phone
Android 16 does not handle aspect ratio correctly for some apps on the external display (Chrome, Gmail)
If there was a black option, I wouldn't be mad
Lack of accessories (covers (with magsafe), skins, etc. )
