The thermostat looks really good in the photos and in person, but as soon as you hold it, you can immediately tell its cheap Chinese origin. The construction is incredibly flimsy – when you turn the control dial, the display itself wobbles unpleasantly, and the buttons feel quite cheap to press. In this price range, I'd expect a more robust and premium piece, even from this brand. The terminal screws on the back are practically flush with the body or protrude slightly, so it's easy to catch on them. However, this shouldn't really be a problem during a standard installation into a box. Contrary to the product images, the thermostat doesn't measure temperature in 0.1°C increments, but only in 0.5°C steps. Setting the desired temperature and hysteresis in 0.5°C increments is standard, but it's quite limiting for any more precise boiler switching. The major disaster, however, is the unresolved issue of the integrated thermometer heating up from the internal electronics. As soon as the thermostat switches on the heating mode, the relay itself generates heat that confuses the sensor and distorts the measured room temperature by as much as 2.5°C compared to reality. This makes the integrated sensor practically useless, and the only option is to use an external sensor. As for the functions, don't expect any bells and whistles – you'll only find the absolute basics: on, off, programme, manual, and temporary manual. Using the default app, you can set exactly 4 temperature changes for each day, not one more or less. Furthermore, the switching relay itself cannot be controlled independently using your own scene, so it cannot be triggered based on data from a more accurate external temperature sensor. In the end, it's a relatively nice-looking piece, but it's let down by cheap workmanship and poor measurement accuracy.
