real glass, dense, such a solid product, tapered under the breech to make it easy to hold. the advantage is a larger bottle content, so that it is not necessary to refill frequently. Ideal is e.g. on coarse salt, the artificially good.
The grinder is heavier.
The plastic cap is difficult to take off, it has a small overlap, so there is nothing to grab onto. We just leave it loose so it doesn't dust the grinder.
Neumele some spices, e.g. cumin, pepper only imperfectly. We bought 3 grinders, but they all grind only coarse salt and a little pepper - some fall ground as large chunks and some completely finely. To avoid having to throw them away, we have coarse Himalayan salt in one grinder, coarse black salt in the second, and 4 kinds of pepper in the third, but the latter is very hard to grind.
