I had an accident on the bus yesterday with my camera. After hitting the car and braking, the camera didn't detect it even though I had the G sensor set to high sensitivity. However, when I had the camera in the car, every time I drove over a pothole it triggered an emergency recording. A second after the accident, if I hadn't pressed the manual emergency record button, I wouldn't have had a recording.
Look out! When you press the emergency record button, it only takes 5 seconds before the event and 5 seconds after the event. That means you really only have a second in a crash or incident to press it yourself. So the camera is useless and I returned it today.
