It shines solidly. It's great as a bedside lamp.
The kids love it.
It's lightweight plastic, but that's a bonus. Kids can pull it, they can easily hold it in their hand.
Good to hold/wear - for the narrow part.
Switching on/off with one hand is a bit of a challenge. It takes a griffin. But like, it's coming eventually: )
