Occasionally the connectivity to the internet drops out for a minute, the internal network still works, the computer connected to the main router still ok, so the problem between the mesh and the main router. Unfortunately this happens quite often, even if only for a while
A cheaper alternative to tp-link. I bought two sets (6pcs) to cover two floors, one of about 300m2. Thus, the total area covered is approximately 600m2. Originally bought one set, but it was not able to cover this area. It is an old house with thick walls and high ceilings. Switching between transmitters according to signal strength works well. The transfer rate on the 200/200 connection was measured to be 97/98Mbit and this is only due to the fact that the device does NOT have 1Gbit ports, but ONLY 100Mbit. Where it is installed the speed is max 50/10 and probably will never be higher, so I'm not that worried. A maximum of 25 devices (80% are mobile phones) are connected to the network at the same time and it can handle. So far it's been going for a few days, but I don't think there should be any problem. I have had and have several Mercusys devices and always without problems.
If it were my first device of this type, I would give it 5*, but I have seen better systems, albeit several times more expensive.
The price/performance ratio is a clear 5*.
