We originally bought this for a small dachshund as a den. It worked perfectly for this purpose, but if we needed to go away for a while and shut him inside for his safety he would crawl out. I can't quite see how I'm going to get the dog in the car without him running all over my trunk in a moment. As a luxury unnecessarily overpriced house it's great otherwise I recommend a metal cage for a third of the price.
