I have three of them, and they each sound different, some absolutely perfect (even better than the usual 200 euro speakers), some have such overly stiff bass and everything just goes into vibration that it's unusable. so it's probably like a lottery. But I have a feeling that the newer the worse they are. The oldest ones I have are the ones that play perfectly (except that when they are turned off and in the socket they whistle). So when you're buying these pieces, it's like a lottery, you either get a really above average for the price, but you can also get a strong below average, too.
If you're lucky you get ones that play really perfectly.
If you are unlucky, the subwoofer will play a totally distorted and stiff bass sound.

They look pretty good and have decent sound too. Adjustable bass.
The problem is that they are often used with headphones and the volume adjustment of the connected headphones is very poorly solved. The headphone output is estimated to be about 80% lower than the original output from the PC, I don't understand how they could do it this way.
So for headphone listening it needs to be cranked up almost to the max and as a bonus sometimes one side of the stereo disappears so it only goes into one headphone. So then when you take your headphones out and the music is playing, it suddenly roars at full volume. I don't think this is a flawed piece, several have complained about the same thing.

Really good sound personally I think that around 50€ you can hardly find better.
Like most so those subtle sounds when you turn off the speakers, I keep my PC by the bed and I can fall asleep with it on. But it depends on each individual. It can also be removed by disconnecting the speakers from the plug.
