I bought the microscope for my six year old son and we are very pleased. Higher magnification doesn't make sense for him, this is how he sees details of print, plants and various surfaces. The microscope has three types of illumination - direct, side and UV. With UV you can also observe banknotes or patterns on flowers hidden to the human eye. Easy focusing. Practical microscope case, it is truly pocketable.

The lenses are not well aligned, the image is sharp in the area either at the edges or in the middle.
