The new Lenova LOQ 15IRX9 Luna Grey for 2024 has very decent specs and a proven design with one positive adjustment. The hot air exhaust is directed only to the back of the laptop and not to the side, to the hand with the mouse. The placement of most ports at the back is classic, but this time Lenovo has omitted the left side, where no port is located. Parametrically, the IPS screen looks good at 144Hz and 300nits, 100% sRGB. The performance of the laptop is awesome and the i5 13450HX processor features 6 powerful and 4 efficient cores, only the integrated graphics are chopped, which is much weaker compared to the H and U models of the processors. However, it's plenty sufficient for normal work and switches seamlessly to the RTX 4060 for gaming. The perfect solution! The MUX switch works quickly and smoothly on the fly. With Lenovo, I appreciate the Lenovo Vantage software for easy setup, updates and limiting charging to 80% -if you want to use the laptop plugged into a wall outlet.
The disadvantages include that the laptop does not include Windows 11.I have, but my license from an old laptop that went to silicon heaven and a clean installation was a matter of moments. With Lenovo, I appreciate that before booting, just insert the flash drive with the system and start installing immediately. The only thing the installation doesn't find is the wifi driver, but just connect via cable for a while and the laptop downloads all the updates itself. This is a new product, and there are definitely some minor issues with SW. Within a couple of days I have seen 2 new BIOS versions, download and install via Vantage completely without any problems. For the SW backlight, the GK sometimes unnecessarily pulls up or lowers the brightness. I'm not testing gaming performance yet, but FHD on high and ultra details runs everything perfectly. The laptop definitely has the potential for 2K via an external monitor. Don't expect the battery life to be too high - I estimate about 3.5h of video playback on YouTube. I use my laptop mostly networked and just carry it around. Personally, this endurance is not a problem for me.
The Lenovo brand makes very good gaming and office laptops even at price levels with a good price/performance ratio. Already, the Lenovo LOQ 15IRX9 is a competitive laptop and if it is still on sale in time, it will be a great buy. I recommend it!

design, appearance, backlit keyboard I rate everything positively for the price range
without OS Windows 11
SW and drivers are being tweaked for the new product (already 2x out of updates to the new BIOS version, on the other hand Lenovo takes care of the product)
Intel processors are caustic - stamina count rather average and below average (playing video 2h took 55% of charge)
