My first piece lasted about 10 years, then the rivets in the handle cracked. I bought again because even Tescoma does not make a grater as good as this one.
I'm very happy to recommend it. Stable and good quality grater for a fine penny, holds up well. I had previously used a grater in about the same price range from Tescoma, but one side of the handle cracked after a while.
