Initially, I had some reservations about the almost square format of the reader, but these dissipated over time. The reader is comfortable to hold and the positioning of the buttons is very practical. I’m in love with my Kobo libra color. I’ve used it for only a week, total of ~22h read, and it’s so so easy to use and read on it. My eyes do not get tired, and it has so much storage space. I have around 850 ebooks already on it, with more 500 ebooks/mangas/graphic novels I need to convert and put it, and I haven’t even gotten close to scratch the 32gb of storage (although we have around 9gb of system). I’m really happy with my purchase, and can’t recommend Kobo enough.

I'm replacing the Kindle keyboard. So I wanted the flip buttons and the color e-ink was an added bonus. Right from the start, I was struck by the fact that without activating my Kobo account, the reader won't even turn on. I was disappointed with the colour display - it's bland without the backlight. But I was most discouraged by the contrast, which is worse than that of B&W displays. I ended up with a kindle paperwhite and I don't miss the physical buttons.
