Intel launches the 8th generation Intel Core processors, this time branded with the label Coffee Lake. Basically, it is a very similar architecture to the previous successful Kaby Lake series. However, Intel has worked on various optimisations, resulting in an Intel Core i5-8400K processor that delivers real-world performance while maintaining low energy consumption.

For the first time ever, the core i5 includes six powerful cores. The increase in the cores is also accompanied by higher working frequencies, which moves up to the 4GHz limit in turbo mode.
