Hello, thank you for your suggestion, which we have checked directly with the supplier. The app is derived from the Tuya Smart and Smart Life apps, where each user can set up the app to determine what they want and don't want to share. So there is no mass collection of information. The bulb can also be controlled with a ZigBee remote control. The app is required if you want to control the bulb remotely via your phone or set automatic functions.
