I used the previous FreeBuds i6 series for two years and was quite satisfied. Unfortunately, I lost the box, so I was looking for new headphones. Neither the AirPods Pro 3 nor the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 (both among the best on the market) fit in my ear the way I would like - especially in the gym, so I was "forced" to reach for the mid-range again. The FreeBuds i6 are completely unique in how much they can offer for the price. There is almost perfect noise cancelling, which attacks the top (it copes well with wind or public transport, with voices it has a problem, but even better headphones have that). They have all the conveniences such as earpiece deployment detection or volume adjustment directly on the earpiece. These are features that are already essential for me, and a lot of competitors in this price range don't have all of this. Unfortunately, for quality music enthusiasts, these headphones will not be. They sound a bit worse than the previous i6 and it's not as clean. Anyway, they are like a needle in a haystack for a normal user and after trying several headphones in different price categories, I appreciated this gem that Huawei has brought to the headphone market for several years.

I honestly don't really understand the reviews here I only bought the headphones because of them and I am very disappointed. I switched from the older cheaper Redmi buds 6 and I didn't get nearly the improvement. The Redmi's have a mile better ANC they specifically fit my ears much better because they were smaller. With these Huawei's you could hear that the sound was even a little better, but extremely overbassed in all modes. Another big minus, they're pretty noisy for the neighborhood too. Extremely undesirable to me. Impossible to put on music in the bedroom at night when I go to sleep.

ANC is terrible.
Due to the weaker anc I found them quite quiet, although when my wife put them on I could hear them almost as loud as she could when I was standing next to her.
For Android need to install the app from the 3rd party. Huawei is banned by Google. But we knew that before we bought it.
I returned the headphones after a few hours.
