Overall it is great and fulfills everything I wanted from it. It is in my service a successor to the Logitech MX Vertical - that is, a mouse with perhaps a little more prestige(? ) or just a longer pedigree. But the HP mouse is better in several ways: the fourth and fifth buttons (back and forward) are above each other and clearly demarcated, at logitech they overlap and there is no problem with their spec. from the beginning of the fist (before you get it called. "in the hand"). Not so with HP - there it's clear - you don't confuse the buttons. Completely better is the location of the sixth button - it's under the thumb on the HP, while on the Logitech it's at the top of the panel. The sixth button invokes desktop management by default in Windows. With HP, it's ergonomically positioned right under my thumb - and my fear of pressing it willy-nilly hasn't been confirmed. It didn't happen even once in a month of use. I haven't used the button once with Logitech - it's so stupidly out of natural range that I didn't even think of it. (I don't use it at HP either, because I don't work with different surfaces and I can't think of any other shortcut, but if I wanted to, it's there! - and I believe there are some guys who use all those buttons). Overall, I'm glad to be out of the Stockholm Syndrome I had with Logitech - I had (and have) several mice and keyboards from them - and with quite a few of them (including the MX Vertical) I've eliminated the left button microswitch. I don't play games, but in fact I have a big paw instead of a hand - and maybe a stronger grip - but the mouse should last, I don't treat it badly. Repeatedly, it didn't last (they even had some free "summoner" at MX Anywhere and changed the microswitches). I can think of two reasons to stay with Logitech over HP: But they make several models of mice, and they work through one Unifying receiver - but I switched to BT over time anyway. And secondly, they have an app that allows you to set the functions for individual buttons. I never used it once in my entire career, but the app repeatedly annoyed me by constantly offering to install a new update at least once a month. Fucking mouse is a consumer product, not a love brand, I want to plug it in and use it - not cuddle with installing a new version of software every two weeks. Whether the HP can be customized and setup differently or specifically for any applications I don't know - it suits me as it is "out of the box". I just hope that HP uses better quality micro switches - which I can hardly tell after a month of use - only time will tell.
an additional "cot", which is useful in case you don't have a pad with a gel wrist rest - in which case you'd be shuffling the pinky edge around the table. Not like that - it's a nice ride.
the additional "cot" (collar) is easily detachable (attached cleverly to magnets), so if you have a mouse pad with an armrest - or just want to use the mouse "without", it's gone in one motion, but otherwise it nicely holds in place and rolls your hand across the table
ofiko can mouse with three computers and is connectable via Bluetooth or has its own wireless receiver to the USB port. On the bottom side there is a switch that pretends to be able to switch between receiver or BT1 or BT2. I only use the mouse with two computers (both via BT), so I have no idea if the third position also allows BT or if it requires sealing one of the USB ports with a receiver. The competition can do 3x BT, here I don't know - as I write, I haven't tried. So minus a tiny bit and only really just maybe. Maybe 3x BT can. I don't know.
