The pump usually lasts a month or two. I have complained about the fountain about 6 times, each time it comes with a new motor or a new piece and history repeats itself. Motorbikes are useless here, but a new motorbike will cost almost the price of a new fountain. It's a shame, the cats love it the most out of all the varieties I've tried.

My cat is already used to the fountains, as I had another one, but less well designed.
So he got used to this new one right away. I like that it only has one larger stream of water and a small puddle, so the cat can choose what it likes more. The automatic pump shut off is great, my old ordinary fountain didn't have that. The filters click in nicely and fit better than the original, which means that the water really flows through the filter. The original filters are very expensive, however, you can find cheaper ones elsewhere. Cleaning is pretty much normal with these fountains - you have to disconnect it, disassemble it and clean it, but this one is easier than my original one. We'll see how long the pump lasts - it's also disassembled with the parts and can be cleaned better and properly. The light would be great if it could be turned off - I have 1+1 and the fountain is in the main room to make it more motivating for the cat to drink water.
