If you want to flavor the popcorn with flavor or spices, you need to lightly spray with a spray of oil, the result is still almost non-greasy, but flavored (too bad alza doesn't sell flavors and has to go to the competition). You have to take into account the noise level of the machine (if you have a separate kitchen, it doesn't really matter to me). The advantage for me is the size of the device (compared to the microwave, which I used to use only for popcorn anyway) - it can be stored in a cabinet or a high drawer after use. Compared to the other popcorn maker (which I once got "free" for TV), the advantage is that someone thought about it during production and the popcorn falls into the supplied bowl - unlike the previous one, which hid the popcorn thoroughly all over the room (even on and behind the furniture) - probably to make it even "healthier".
