In 2016, the GP Batteries company introduced a new generation of ReCyko+ and ReCyko+ Pro rechargeable batteries. All of these batteries use a state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and build on the successful and award-winning series of rechargeable batteries. They can offer you much better features in comparison with their predecessors. For example, the new EnergyLock technology featuring low self-discharge rates that is common with non-rechargeable batteries. The battery retains enough energy for immediate use even after several years of storage.
The batteries have been improved to up to 1500 recharge cycles. These batteries are also able to function for up to several years without interruption.
ReCyko+ rechargeable battery
The ReCyko+ battery series offers a wide range of capacity and durability, enabling each user to get the optimal ratio of power output, purchase cost and operating costs.
The AAA 2700 version features one of the highest capacities available on the market.
As a representative of the GP ReCyko+ series, the rechargeable battery pack is pre-charged and can be used immediately after unpacking or after longer storage.

These rechargeable NiMH GP batteries are ready for use. This is due both to the pre-charging during their production and the increased ability to maintain the energy during storage in the retail stores.
The new EnergyLock technology delivers minimal self-discharge, which is common for non-rechargeable batteries. When charged, your batteries will remain charged for several years, even if you are not using them.
With a minimal self-discharge effect called Low-Self-Discharge (LSD), the battery retains up to 80% of energy when stored at room temperature. Recharge the battery again to fully recharge its capacity.
Each rechargeable battery is limited by an approximate number of recharge cycles. When this number of cycles is reached, the battery capacity, or its ability to conserve as much energy as possible drops significantly.
