The board is low end with a B550 chipset and doesn't try to deny it. The power circuits count on indirect cooling from box AMD coolers, under a more caustic CPU cooled by a tower cooler or water they must suffer quite a bit. Unfortunately I fully agree with all the previous reviews, the placement of the primary pcie 16x and sata ports is so stupid that if you are counting on more than 2 slot graphics and more than 2 sata devices, fitting them separately in a smaller case will be a total hell. Beware of only 2 connectors for additional fans unless there is a fan hub in the case or using pwm sharing technology. The nicer side of things is that my latest hw revision 1.7 arrived which has ALC1220-VB for sound, 6+2 power cascade and DisplayPort, a small improvement but at this price point a delight. For the weaker 65W CPU it is a nice budget chassis with the purpose to connect the basic components.

Functional, does what it's supposed to, cheap PCIE 4.0 solution. For understanding, I attach a photo with a long GPU - there is no space for cables for sata ports.

The board cannot handle several hours of full CPU load. It's probably got some kind of design problem. 4X claimed - 2X corrected the error nor 2X replacement with a new piece solved the problem. Product returned.

No BIOS update was needed, maybe for Ryzen 5xxx it will be needed.
