We bought it for the kids as it seemed suitable for a small child's hand. But unfortunately it doesn't suit children because it doesn't have separate, separate buttons - only the places at the top end of the mouse are pressed, and unfortunately their pressing is not very noticeable, so children are not sure if they clicked or not. Some may not mind, but we preferred to stick with the older model.
