Black guide plate under the handle facilitates horizontal, uniform trimming of lawns/turf
the lock is easy to operate with one finger, there are notches on it so wet hands don't matter
the top black part of the handle has a mossy anti-slip treatment, the bottom which is more stressed does not, so they are well held and do not slip but there is no risk of peeling the anti-slip layer
light in the hand, fits well and it really makes no difference if you work with your right or left hand
the scissors cannot be turned like other models
