(I've never used a phone mount) For a decent price, a decent "old" controller. I was looking for something PS2 style. It holds well, it's not heavy. It is also decently modifiable in the settings. Vibration response just right, not to throw away. The battery lasts for 15h of play. It reaches far ( about 12m/6m over a brick wall). Overall fine, but when I play for hours at a time, I need to wash my hands and clean it, otherwise the sweat on the controller is unpleasant. With more frequent playing, blistering on the index fingers is possible ( may be only an individual problem). A couple of diodes shine like a laser. Big minus, the usb dongle receiver can't be plugged into the controller so when traveling or whatever, you have two pieces. It bugs me when it's off and the dongle in the usb - it beeps the device connection and sends me into a wall when I play the keyboard/mouse, outside of games it does nothing. Nothing less for less demanding gamers vo they want a PS2 style controller but are more on the PC, great price/quality choice!

The dongle when in the usb of a windows computer turns on unpredictably ( even when the driver is off) and reaches briefly into the control. - it has to be pulled out when I play the keyboard with the mouse
some parts of the controller glow so brightly that it is annoying when playing
a couple of places on the controller have uncomfortable edges that can show up on the index fingers at R1, L1 ( +R2, L2) during extended play
the surface, when the hands sweat, is slightly uncomfortable, nothing terrible (on the other hand, it cleans well again)
The joystick sensitivity is not like the latest controllers ( I don't have a direct comparison), but I have experienced more sensitive ones. ( Nothing less was my goal, comparable to the PS2 of the time)
It only works when playing, or when you switch the PC to touch mode, or "steam game mode". Normally you can't do anything outside of the game, it doesn't control the mouse cursor or mark the "mouse" on the desktop ( you need to hit the mouse/keyboard to move between games.

The gamepad feels good in my hand, I bought it for online play from retrohry cz. It does not support the V3+ mapping program, but you can map buttons with this gamepad from without the program. ( with games installed on the phone everything is fully functional ) Connecting to PC is pres dongle quick easy. great for that money; )
