I bought it mainly for lighting the wall behind the monitor because of eye fatigue. The lowest intensity I would compare to a night light at which you can sleep, the highest intensity is enough to illuminate the room. Intensity control in six steps, chromaticity control in five - subjectively quite sufficient, I don't miss any steps in between. The only criticism is that the lowest and highest chromaticity levels have a slightly lower intensity (which is understandable). I wasn't thrilled with the touch controls, but I have to admit it's not terrible. It would be good to have some tactile response, but touch is very sensitive and it's better than having to control some smart light with your phone. When it's dark and you can't see the base, just swipe across the entire surface to turn it on and you'll inevitably hit the right button: ) The positionability solution is better than I expected, very easy to put in any position. The light can be shone directly on the table, on the wall or on the ceiling. I've already used it in addition to its intended purpose when working in a PC box and disassembling electronics, always a pleasure to work with the light. But again, a minor complaint - the base is quite light. Although the lamp is stable, it is necessary to hold the base with the other hand during large shifts in position. Some may miss the lack of height adjustment. The power adapter doesn't beep. It gets hot in operation, but it's definitely not hot. The light itself is only slightly lukewarm in operation. All in all, I think the price is nice considering the features and performance.
