This is the second fan of the same brand. The first one has been working without problems for about 3 years. This one was more expensive because of the battery and the ability to control it via the mobile app. I had tried a much cheaper model from Philips before, but that one hummed strangely right from the start, so I returned it and bought this one. It has its flaws at times, but if you're looking for a fan that's both quiet and powerful, this one won't disappoint.

overall does as advertised. it’s bigger than i expected but not a bad thing. i like that you get full control even without the app. battery is a little slow to charge even when fan is not running. i had it charging for several hours and it was still only 2/3 full. it’s not a huge deal but this would be the only item besides price i want to improve.
