The Denon PMA-520AE Stereo Amplifier features a high-quality High Current (HC) Single-Push-Pull Circuit that delivers high-power and is packed with detail. The switching relay for CD and Phono inputs (turntables) contains internal gas, which significantly reduces unwanted noise. The use of the highest quality components, such as a high-capacity capacitor for the power supply, high-quality carbon resistors and other premium capacitors, is a matter of course. The amplifier also includes the Direct function that turns off the microprocessor to ensure minimal sound distortion. It has low power consumption in standby mode (<0.3W).
