I had a 15 year old hifi (25 year old) tower with 30cm high speakers by my PC. I was buying a larger monitor so the tower had to give way to something more compact. I was worried about covering them with some kind of fabricated crap. I originally wanted some Adam monitors, IK multimedia, small bodies, miserable bass. I'm not going to risk buying boxes for 8k, I'll try it on something cheaper. My suspicions have been confirmed, but I'm lying. The T40 is just a box for PC, for games and listening to something on youtube. I definitely wouldn't use them for music, any music, no matter how loud, they're just not up to it - or rather they're not up to much
