In the case of winter tyres, the speed index according to the technical data sheet does not have to be observed as much (but the max. the speed somewhere in the driver's field of vision), but I chose the V index to be safe, which corresponds to what I have in my papers
The reinforced version (XL - extra load), I have a heavier wagon, so I thought it wouldn't hurt anything, which actually it probably doesn't. It's hard to judge the increase in noise, but I don't notice anything out of the ordinary. It's just that it's probably "unnecessary" for a family car -> they'd recommend it more for deliveries and stuff, where really heavy loads are carried. But still, I don't regret it, at least I feel like they won't be caught off guard.
Remember that you have to "inflate" the reinforced version a bit more than you normally have to in order for it to perform its function well. I just couldn't find anywhere how much more it is: D I'm prescribed 2,3 and the service shop where I had them reinstalled inflated them to 2,6, so hopefully it's OK.
I even feel like the steering wheel is a bit more controllable now, but that's probably just a subjective feeling or a really good new sample does wonders; )
