Good watch with lame software and good adjustability via the "Nothing X app". You won't regret the money you spend on this watch, but you must take into account that you are not buying a completely finished product. Calls don't show the name - only the number, "wake on wrist" sometimes doesn't work the first time. Overall, though, the watch works well for the most important things. You won't miss any notifications, the alarm wakes you up, the microphone is above average, the display is visible in virtually any weather, and the battery life is great. As far as sports are concerned, I think the watch works and tracks well (compared to the £6000 Garmin 255). Dual-band GPS is really very accurate, just unfortunately lacking altitude sensing. So on the mountains, you'll only see the distance you've covered.

Let's start with the positive. The watch is beautiful and the haptic response crown is amazing. Basically, I don't give the watch a minimum rating just because of the crown. Well, what went wrong. The watch can only be paired using the "Nothing X" app and pairing requires registration in the app. The watch seems to be running on some much-maligned version of WearOS, and it refuses to talk to the WearOS app on mobile.
This means no downloading watch faces from google play and no installing watch app versions on mobile etc. On my piece, the display was apparently rotated slightly clockwise and the graphics on it did not line up with the indices on the lunette (the frame around it). I wouldn't believe that such a trifle could be such a distraction. Often the caller's name is not displayed, only the number, for no apparent reason. You have an incoming call and the contact's name is displayed. Everything without a problem. 5 minutes later the same person calls and suddenly only the number is displayed.
This should be easily fixed with an update, but since people on the forums addressed this a year ago with the Watch 2, I'm not getting my hopes up. The charging cable is an unmitigated disaster. Even the rebelliousness of the lead wire itself is more than enough to make the connector buckle and the watch stop charging. The only option is to print out a charging stand. Oh, and the main flaw that made me return the watch - there is no way to mute the cell phone ringer when I have the watch on my wrist. Something I have taken for granted for a decade now, and it never occurred to me that such a (to me, essential) feature would not be available. This watch strikes me as a prototype that somehow got sold. The watch's firmware, app and mobile phone had the latest updates at the time of testing.

The fact that the charging cable in 2025 has USB-A and not USB-C is a mega failure for me. I'm not buying a reducer for that. Hopefully Cina will sell a decent cable. The watch occasionally disconnects from the phone - a classic problem of the previous generation. Battery with AOD on for max 5 days, charged to full in almost an HOUR AND A HALF. The integrated ChatGPT in the watch is just a trigger for the app on the mobile. If you have Perplexity on your phone, the watch will also start Perplexity, but the AI then communicates through the phone, not the watch. So the function is only "paper" and quite disappointing.
