Unfortunately total dissatisfaction, I returned the grinders. They seem to work when empty, but as soon as salt/pepper is added, they "grind their last". They're making a lot of noise and they're barely making a dent. In short, they completely fail to perform the function for which they are intended. Maybe I just got "lucky" with the wrong piece, but since this is the several times I've been completely dissatisfied with this brand, I won't repeat it.
Wonderful design
High noise level
He's not really grinding

one grinds salt beautifully. The other one struggles a bit with the pepper. It's hard to tell yet whether it's the machine or the pepper
