I was planning to use the headphones as a replacement for the 5 year old cloud 2, which still work well, but are past their prime. In the end, I had to return them and will probably wait a while for a replacement. The main reason was comfort, where I can't imagine anyone wearing these headphones for more than 10min. The headphones are uncomfortable, the earcups are small and therefore press on the ears, which helps some sound deadening, but at the cost of considerable discomfort. As far as the sound is concerned, it is not bad, the sound is balanced, the bass does not offend, the mids and highs are clear. I am a little uncertain about the design, it does not look premium or cheap and it will last for home use only. I had xm5 and now for outdoor use I have Momentum4, the sound sounds better there, the soundproofing without ANC is also better and in terms of comfort there is no point even comparing. In the end I ended up at a price where at 4k I didn't see the real benefit compared to the slightly worse performing cloud 2. I would just add that I tested it on 95% of normal PC work, ie youtube, spotify and some gaming.

I really liked the sound of the headphones but I had to return them in the end. I listen to music during work even after 8-10h and the headphones were already felt after a few minutes - the earpieces are small - they are not around the ears but partially touch the ears. At the same time, because I wear breeches and the earpieces are small, after putting on the headphones the breeches shifted on my nose - when I wanted to put them back on my nose the back of the breeches was already "pushing" into the earpiece and thus shifting the headphones - I was not able to find the ideal position
At the same time the head bridge is uncomfortable, I can't explain it, but it seemed to me that there is more shock absorbing material on the head bridge on the side above (from the head) than under the bridge (the side down to the head) - the bridge pushed after a while
I didn't want to return the headphones.

My first Hi-Fi headphones and I have to say that I'm quite satisfied, although I expected a bit more (it can be said that I probably don't have the most sensitive hearing like some audiophiles, but for a lot of songs they are simply comparable to casual headphones for a thousand). However, we'll see how I look at it in the long run, maybe it's just a matter of habit, or maybe I don't have high enough standards for music.

It should be mentioned that these are headphones for music producers and people who are interested in music, make music and have at least some idea that there is a frequency spectrum. The average listener may think that they sound the same as his 600 CZK ones, because he is completely out of his mind.
Great boomy low end (lows, bass), ideal for fast electronic music with big bass
Mid range is also fine, it's balanced, it doesn't stand out, but it's not terrible as it often happens
The highs are clean, so called smooth, they make the ears nervous and breathe quite nicely, nothing is drowned somewhere in the back, I like that very much
They are more concrete, meaning they are not so spatial. Here again, it depends on what kind of music you're making. Concreteness is ideal for fast, electronic music, etc. Spatial headphones will be appreciated more by someone who does something very ambient and wants to hear sounds spread out in space (In that case, take the Shure headphones (I compared with the SRH 840, they're very close to these, but have a bit more spatiality)

Maybe I have something with my hearing, but the sound quality seems to me to be completely comparable to my previous headphones for 600 CZK. I note that they don' t play badly, but I can' t hear practically any difference compared to the previous headphones, which played well too, but were many times cheaper. The only difference from the 600 ones I had was that the 600 ones had an extra microphone.
