The pros are clear. Today, there are few similarly priced competitive products. As for the cons, I would pause here a bit. I started working out in the 90's when something like mixing protein in a shaker didn't exist. You had to use a blender. Likewise, most of the products were tasteless. It was mainly about the composition and quick protein replenishment. The current trend of practitioners is quite confusing to me. 90% of people don't exercise enough to need protein at all, let alone spend 1200+ for taste and solubility. Make your priorities clear - either you will exercise hard or you will enjoy the taste and solubility of the protein drink. Sure, it goes together..: )
