I struggled with the settings for about an hour. Most of it was due to the fact that I tried to avoid using the mobile app and tried to get to the web interface of the device. After I started playing with the mobile app, it was just a matter of moments and setting both devices to AP mode was easy.
If you use mesh, you can set a static IP address on the main unit, but not on the other units. This can be resolved on the DHCP server reservation.
Despite the smaller boxes without antennas, the signal coverage is great in my case.
Nice design.
4x RJ45 ports for additional devices.
Ability to run mesh over wired infrastructure (the device prefers this to wifi).
WiFi 6.
No USB port.
The price (judged as of 03-2023) was higher, but it offers relatively new wifi standards.
Mobile app required for initial setup.
