be prepared for a somewhat unusual behavior of the board at startup if you have an active AMD EXPO profile on the memory. the board performs a memory test for a few tens of seconds and the computer seems to do nothing
EXPO mode causes system instability in places, while I have RAM modules that are list of supported
the latest bios hasn't solved this yet, on discussion forums this has been addressed quite a bit. hopefully with the next bios versions this will be resolved
for inexperienced users, it can be annoying or even frightening

It didn't have the latest BIOS, it needed to be updated for the ASUS software to work. but the procedure was well described in the manual
