I bought the resource based on great reviews. I knew that in terms of quality, it was an absolute top, so there is no need to name the above. But what surprised me unpleasantly is the cabling. And so little (and even Asus would have spared) was enough to bring it to perfection. I don' t understand (and this applies to all vendors) why there are two 6 + 2 pins at the end of each PCI-E branch, when it has been proven so many times that for modern high-power GPUs, only one branch should be connected from each branch. one 6 + 2 pin. The argument of multiple graphics cards is weak, because the source would not tighten them anyway. Despite the fact that this cabling could be on offer separately for those interested in SLI. The manufacturer would save a few small things, but above all the cabling would look much cleaner and neater. In addition, it would avoid possible problems with ignorant users overloading individual branches. Another lack of cabling is associated with neatness. So if there must be a 2x6 + 2 pin on each branch, then why must one of the cables on each branch be intertwined with a parallel branch? I really didn' t get this. The owner of this source is thus essentially prevented from covering the part with an unused 6 + 2 pin. This also means that it is impossible to use any plastic staples that could improve the overall appearance. I honestly thought it was a manufacturing defect when I picked up the first power branch. After unpacking the others, I found out that this is probably called ROG Strix quality .: D Seriously, those shortcomings have obscured everything I like about the source. And for punters like me, there' s no choice but to buy an extension cord set and use it to cover up production trouble. Which I really didn' t expect from a source that costs over 4k. In conclusion: Is this a quality resource? Undoubtedly. Can he defend his prize? In my opinion, not because of the above. What would I recommend if you are looking for an 850W power supply and you are looking for white and neat cabling? Buy a cheaper Seasonic (which also supplied the source base for Asus) and a Cable Extension set for it. It will cost you the same money, but you will be much more satisfied with the result. The ROG logo is not worth your money in this case.
