Nice, good fans. Unfortunately at low speeds in a quiet room they have a strange sound, worse than the stock Cooler Master (sickleflow - something) on the AIO I wanted to replace (those are very noisy above 1200rpm).

The fans look very inconspicuous at first glance. Just by their weight alone, it's clear that they're not exactly a traditional fan. They are designed more for workstations or servers. When replacing the original Fractal Design fans, I encountered the problem that they are a few millimeters thicker, so the mounting screws (through the fan) do not reach the thread. Fortunately, with the Define R5, I just clicked the front filter in place and it holds so tightly that I don't even want to deal with longer screws. For other cabinets, you'd better measure.
For a home server running somewhere in a utility room, these are great fans, with a good warranty, and a very reasonable price compared to the "professional" competition.
