Definitely the most complicated project in my smart home so far. The product itself works simply - you pair it with a Zigbee controller (in my case Home Assistant, where it works without a hitch), hang it up and via one button you set the strength of the attachment to the pelmet (double-click) and the extreme positions (triple-click). You move between the extreme positions with one click, and when you zoom out, the reset is five clicks. And because the extreme positions can also be detected automatically after the curtain has too much resistance (which is either at the end of the pelmet, or when it gets stuck because the snap force is set too high), you'll be resetting, changing snap force, and adjusting the extreme positions for a nice while (this clicker can probably be bypassed if you get an Aqara Hub, but I'm a cheapskate for that). Then you replace all the hooks, because this bazmek puts a lot of pressure on them and the 5 year old plastic ones are brittle and breaking. Then you'll notice that the wheel on the smooth pelmet squeaks quite often, so you'll cover it with PUR foam (the kind you use for window seals). But even then, the hinges sometimes get a bit stuck in the plastic pelmet (which you can test if they don't slide perfectly smoothly by hand, they will definitely get stuck), which throws off the ends, either because of a mis-detection of the end of the rod, or because the wheel also slips on the PUR foam. So, you replace the pelmet with aluminium, replace all the hooks again and cover the pelmet with PUR seal again. I got to this stage yesterday after three months and it looks like it's finally going to work. For that I did 4 trips to Hornbach and spent 5 hours hanging on the bars. But now I'll save 30 seconds of getting up from the computer to the curtains. I'd buy again.
