A working solution if the phone cannot focus at smaller distances by itself.
It is also large enough that it can be used with a regular cover without the edges of the lens being visible in the shot (iPhone 13 mini). However, the aluminum body of the lens itself could be smaller and more compact considering its overall size. And a shorter focal length, rather than 40-70 mm, would also make more sense.
