for the purpose for which I bought it - watching movies from bed is great, but it really needs to be darkened, but the manufacturer writes that in the manual. as far as the resolution is concerned, if you set it according to the attached manual, it is super nice picture and also the subtitles are readable. for movies, photos, videos for home use at that price is ideal. it's really easy to set up. it works via hdmi from my laptop. as far as sound is concerned, so far we use the one from the built-in speakers, which is enough for home use, of course do not expect dolby raw d. fan a little noisier but nothing that would bother me extra. the throw away is the controller. I see the advantage in the fact that the size of the image okrm cosnost in settings such as 4:3 or 16:19 etc can then only be adjusted by the distance of the projector from the wall. for the price I definitely recommend it for home: )
