*** The chair is labeled as Antares Bolton but is actually a Tampa model *** I bought the chair for children aged 12+. The seat is soft, pleasant, but I find it a bit too long, so that for children or people of smaller stature (DaPMV) it reaches down to the knee. The seat can be moved forwards and backwards. *** The operator is quite ok, but it can't be locked with a package, i.e. it has about 5 positions, you can only lift it upwards, there is only some clicking mechanism, after reaching the highest position it is possible to lower the operator to the lowest position - unfortunately if you often rotate in the chair then the operator can jump up to a higher position - unthought of *** Controlling with the paddles is uncomfortable and especially unsuitable for DaPMV, they simply cannot reach them! The buckle for unlocking the seat tilt! is a chapter unto itself. there is some strong spring, which allows you to swing in the chair and possibly to adjust the inclination of the seat, BUT at the moment when you release the spring there is a really loud crack and at the same time the spring literally catapults you forward (I myself have 80kg+ and the first time when I was not with my legs sufficiently closed, I flew against the table) *** The armrests do not have a locking button for forward/backward movement, so they do not hold the position when rotating and go where they want *** In my opinion, the cross that holds the wheels is metal/iron, it is really heavy *** I have some reservations about the mounting, 1) the wheels are stuck in the metal. the crisis was difficult, it took a lot of strength. 2) one hole for fixing the side armrest was wrongly drilled, there are 3 holes but I managed to screw in only 2 screws (they are massive so it will hold 2 out of 3)
pleasant seat, rather soft seat
the construction seems to be solid (metal), the chair is really heavy
positioning options
control with pads, side buttons are clearly better
when you release the seat tilt lever, the chair literally catapults you forward, which can be dangerous for children or people of smaller stature and lower weight
the height of the operating system cannot be adjusted
the seat seems a little longer to me,
the armrests do not have a lock button for forward/backward movement, so when you wiggle they constantly move
the chair is heavy, the child/teenager can't really lift it
minor faults with the assembly
