It works, but it takes a while and you give the third-party app your personal data (for authentication, e.g. and ID), which may not suit everyone.
If you're getting a watch to play music without your phone, be careful when setting it up. This is because if you set the Czech Republic or another EU country in Zepp, this function will not be available to you! The only option is to put a country outside the EU, I have the UK for example. This is especially annoying if you already have an Amazfit account, because you have to create a new one and if you want to keep all your saved workouts, you have to drag and drop them one by one in the format.
