I've put 3 holders on my desk. The one on top that's just holding a standard USB charger is fine, but the one upside down holding a albeit heavy switch for a small lamp won't stick. But I guess that was to be expected.
It only holds when you're arranging the cables, and when you need to move them a little.
When you hang it underneath a table, so basically upside down, it falls off after a few hours, but then again, it was holding a lamp switch so it was heavier.
They are actually bigger than in the picture, I recommend looking at the last picture with the dimensions.
