The plastic around the connector is usually wider than usual for AlzaPower cables. Disqualifies the cable from use with devices in cases and packages because it cannot be plugged in (doesn't fit, falls out, doesn't charge). You need to either use different cables, take the cases off for charging, or sand down the cable or case. I always forget. For comparison I attach a photo with the cable supplied as original accessory.

I bought 2 of these good looking, expensive cables, hoping they would last long. The only good thing about them is braiding, making the cable seemingly strong and sturdy. One of the cables stopped working on day 3. I tried all kind of outlets and adapters - no signal :(
