The Taiwanese company ADATA, a world-renowned manufacturer of memory modules, external drives and SSDs, has launched a new product in the form of a powerful and elegant flash drive. DashDrive Elite UE700 combines all the important features expected in a flash drive with a pleasing and sophisticated design, practical details and high data transfer speeds. It offers a read speed up to 190 MB/sec and a write speed up to 50MB/sec. For use at full speed, the drive must be connected to a USB 3.0 port that can handle a maximum data transfer rate of 5Gb/sec. When connected to a USB 2.0 port, it performs at a lower transfer speed of less than 30MB/sec. You do not need to install any drivers.
The DashDrive Elite UE700 has a sleek design with brushed aluminium complements and a blue LED which lights up during data transfer. Its retractable connector prevents damage when not in use, and means that there is no cap to keep track of. The back of the drive also contains a loop for attaching it to a keyring.
