Honestly they are studio monitors but for home listening to music they are absolutely perfect in my opinion. with the Focusrite Scarlett solo 4th gen sound card, a total fantasy. the only thing that's such a minus is the MP3 on it you don't want to listen to it I've never dealt with it myself but here I can just hear the compression especially when playing cymbals etc.
it' s a bargain for the money
need a sound card with mono balanced output.
