The wiper may not be original, but it is blacker in color than the original, and maybe the material looks like it could hold up to something. However, there is no way to remove the washer cap and mounting screw (the original did), so a thinner wrench is needed for installation, and one must be careful not to catch the rear washer, which could be easily damaged by the wrench.
The metal ring for attachment to the rear does not have the same notches as the original, but the wiper holds as nailed and shows no signs of stretching: -) .
