The TV has practically solved the connection of cables into one box. The TV is very thin, with a thin bezel, and surprisingly solid sound. All the apps I need are on the menu. We recently purchased a Samsung QE77S95F 77″ OLED and honestly - I'm thrilled. I was expecting a lot, but the reality surpassed it.
The picture is really unreal. The black depth of OLED is a whole different level than a traditional TV. The dark scenes are really dark (not washed out to grey) and the colours are beautifully vibrant but not overdone. Movies suddenly look more "cinematic" and sports or nature look extremely realistic.
The matte finish is also a big plus - we have a bright living room and I was worried about glare, but the picture is easy to read even during the day.
What pleasantly surprised me is how smoothly everything works. The system is fast, apps load without waiting, and the TV sets up enough things on its own. I don't feel like I have to constantly tweak anything.
If someone plays games, here it is really a pleasure. The picture is beautifully smooth, no tearing, everything sharp even in fast scenes.
The sound is surprisingly good for built-in speakers. It is quite sufficient for casual viewing - the dialogues are clear and understandable. Sure, the soundbar takes it further, but it's not a necessity right from the start.
The design is also very elegant, thin, minimalist - it looks luxurious in the space, but it doesn't disturb.
Overall, I feel like it was one of those purchases that I really enjoy every day. If anyone is considering a larger OLED as a home theater upgrade, for me I really recommend it!
