I was impressed by the very pleasant price tag of Thomson TV. 4K TV for really great money and QLED is really an improvement over classic LED TV. When I received the Thomson TV I was surprised at how light it was. I originally wanted a 43" inch, ended up going with a 50" and I don' t regret it. The TV has a thin frame and a really nice design, which I like more than TVs from other and more popular manufacturers. Setup went smoothly. The only thing I struggled with a bit was connecting the Computer and the TV. There was a slow response when connecting. I found that the TV is only set to 30Hz in the PC, but the value could not be increased. Only when I went through the menu and turned off all the " enhancers" of the image, I went to set PC mode and set the TV to 60Hz on the computer, and the problem was solved. The only thing I miss is saving color profiles, because the preset ones are not much. But this is quite similar for all TVs, so I don' t take it as a negative TV, and maybe it will change over time.

the impossibility of creating multiple user color profiles, but this is similar for most TVs, so it' s not exactly a Thomson defect, rather it' s probably an adaptation of Android to be able to do this function

Installation and connection without problems, everything fast without complications. The remote control is also fine. I appreciate its backlight.
For a TV in this price range, it has a fast response time, the picture and colors are fine, and the sound is good too. We have it in our cottage in a fairly small room, so I can't judge what the sound will be like in a larger space, but I have to admit that the price/performance ratio was quite a positive surprise.

I was a little worried about the now little used TV manufacturer Thompson, but I'm really impressed with the picture quality. Even in the basic "factory" settings, the picture is excellent. I'm comparing with the last plasma from LG and I'm very satisfied in this regard. Sure it's not OLED, but for the price of around 10t it's a real hit. And the viewing angles are perfectly fine, no color changes etc, just slight darkening.
But what I was not so impressed with is the sound. Sure, you can't get any miracle from the built-in speakers, and even though the sound is clear and distinct, it's weak. In addition, I connected the JBL BB3 through the blue tooth and it is not listenable, the sound is totally jerky. Over the headphone cable OK. However, the sound from the TV will still be connected through the optics to the Yamaha integrator to the classic stereo, so I'm not too bothered. What I wanted TV to do, it did to a tee: really good quality "cheap" image and snappy Android.
