Expensive temporary toy. The text is OK: The old RWBG subpixel still applies for 21:9, but when the useless Cleartype is turned off, only white subpixels (with lower power consumption) are lit, so zero "fringing". The 21:9 QDLED cannot be fixed in time. Both are older generation 2023. Also, you don't have mirror view here and "True Purple" instead of black like with QDLED. What is equally bad is the massive VRR flicker (with all flicker technologies = LED, TN, VA, IPS). What's worse with WOLED is the 'gray banding' so the advantage of 'true blacks' for enjoying dark scenery is gone. once the strips appear, and the dirty screen effect, you better have a bag from the plane handy.
Other things are on par, PPI is quite sufficient, colors besides grays are great, reactions are fast even though the frame rate is still only 1/4 of the ideal for the human eye. But the 800R curvature is 90% of the ideal, the closest to the human eye. 1800R would simply not be enough. KVM, the main reason not to buy a 'vanilla' LG, charges laptops, unfortunately without a KVM button and despite lots of settings and up to 3 buttons Asus didn't think to combine any actions - the PIP and KVM ones only bring up settings. They put in Smart KVM, but that's really PIP and the necessary software on both PCs.
